Pair of Brass 'Hand' Door Handles

The Brass 'Hand' shaped door handels are handcasted by Nepalese artists in Kathamndu. This type of Mudhra hand position is called gesture of teaching. In this gesture, the tips of the index and the thumb are joined together with the lotus.This is the characteristic mudra of Manjushree, who is also known as God of wisedom.
